Higher timeframe map, lower timeframe trigger

A lower-timeframe signal against a higher-timeframe range is noise until the range itself breaks and holds. In class we draw the dealing range first, then drop down only to refine the entry.

If the daily map is unclear, do not hunt a 5-minute pattern. Stand down or wait for the next session. Speed does not create structure.

Write two lines in the journal before you look at the trigger chart: bias and invalidation. If the trigger would force you to move that invalidation, the trigger is wrong — not the map.
